Who We Are

Born from a Passion
for Perfection

In 1998, master craftsman Rajan Mehta returned from 14 years in England with a singular vision — to bring the lost art of hand-rolled porcelain bathtub making to India.

He established Bathify in a small Pune workshop with 6 artisans and a commitment that every piece leaving his doors would be flawless. Today, that workshop has grown into India's most prestigious bathware atelier.

No automation. No shortcuts. Only human hands guided by decades of mastery.

Our Process

Crafted by Hand, Guided by Centuries

01
Raw Material Selection

We source only the finest kaolin clay from Rajasthan's mineral-rich deposits. Each batch is tested for density, purity and thermal stability before entering our workshop.

02
Hand Rolling & Shaping

Each tub begins as a sheet of raw porcelain, hand-rolled over a pre-cast iron form — a 3–5 day process performed only by artisans with minimum 12 years' experience.

03
Multi-Stage Kiln Firing

Three separate kiln firings at temperatures exceeding 1,280°C. Each firing deepens the vitrification and builds the legendary luminosity unique to Bathify porcelain.

04
Enamel Application

Up to seven layers of our signature enamel, hand-applied and fired. The result is a surface of extraordinary depth — resistant to scratching, staining, and time itself.

05
52-Point Inspection

Every piece passes our legendary 52-point quality inspection — surface luminosity, dimensional accuracy, structural integrity, fittings. Even a single blemish means rejection.

06
White-Glove Delivery

Each Bathify tub is individually wrapped, crated in custom timber, and delivered by our own white-glove team. From Pune to your home — no third parties, no exceptions.
